Bluestocking Bonbons
Our brand new Bluestocking Bonbons are an innovative line of chocolates named for feminist luminaries. Lagusta's Luscious set out to reclaim the term "bluestocking" (once used pejoratively to refer to women who thirsted for knowledge and education) by honoring six forward-thinking women by naming a chocolate after each. The tagline "chocolates ahead of their time" refers not only to bluestockings everywhere, but to our organic, fair-trade ingredients, which are sourced from mostly small, sustainable businesses and farms who share our philosophy of care and concern for the planet and its inhabitants—an idea that is only now catching on.
